Marie Zere is the President & CEO of Zere Real Estate Services, the first female- owned commercial real estate firm on Long Island and in New York State. Zere Real Estate Services is in business for over three decades.
Marie is a trailblazing pioneer and innovator in commercial real estate. Her firm specializes in commercial real estate, the sales and leasing of office properties, industrial space, retail, an expert in land use, development projects, built-to-suit projects and a particular focus commercial solar installations with the support of Governor Cuomo who is addressing the growing demand for clean energy throughout the State and his mission to reduce the cost of solar by providing predictability and certainty to the industry and support its continued growth.
Marie is a Certified New York State Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) through New York State Empire State Development. She is approved for all aspects of real estate development and solar installations. Other Renewable Energy related sources such as gas facilities, wind turbines and fuel cells are also part of Zere Real Estate’s focus to the future.

She is a former member of the Board of Governors of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors, past president of Long island Transportation Management, former Executive Board member of the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, past board member of the Long Island Association (LIA), a standing member of the Planning Board for the Village of the Branch in Smithtown and an active member of the Board of Directors for the Long Island Business Development Corporation (LIBDC). She has received the Distinguished Achievement in the Field of Business Award by the Town of Islip, and the Long island Distinguished Leadership Award, Suffolk County Republican Women of which she is a founder, honored by the Kidney & Urology Foundation, honored by the Long Island Museums of Antiquities & Carriages at Old Stony Brook (A Smithsonian Museum), honored by the Nassau Conservancy.

Michael is an avid hunter and golfer. He passed on his passion for golf to three of his five children are members of the Metropolitan PGA Junior Tour. In addition, all his children are involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He is married to his wife, Sandra, and resides in Ronkonkoma, within five minutes to the Zere Real Estate corporate office so that he and can service his customers and clients at a moment’s notice.
As Executive Vice President of Zere Real Estate Services she is involved with all aspects of the company’s real estate holdings, acquisitions and business initiatives. A twenty-five year veteran serving the commercial real estate industry and an expert in real estate marketing and advertising, she grew up in the business and has been involved in every aspect of real estate on a regional, national and international basis. A seasoned world traveler her exceptional social skills , marketing and media background speaks for itself while delivering white glove service 24/7 closing numerous substantial transactions where she conceived, structured and negotiated every aspect of the deal.
She handles all of the social media marketing for Zere Real Estate Services. Her specialty as an associate real estate broker is in the sales and leasing of commercial properties including office, medical, retail, industrial and land. Working closely with landlords and property owners, her ongoing long-lasting relationships with a number of public and private companies and non-profit organizations have paved the way for her company’s ongoing success.
Her deals have ranged from a $28.5 million dollar sale in Nassau County to a Suffolk County $4 million dollar retail site for the healthcare industry. All of the business corridors in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties are fair game and targeted on her radar screen. She works with Fortune 50 & 500 companies, financial, medical and technology companies, as well as industrial, R&D leasing deals to subdividing land parcels on the East End of Long Island on both North and South Forks.

David has expertise that is unparalleled in zoning and land use, navigating through the local municipalities and is considered an expert resolving commercial property issues. Over the years he has sold over 800 acres of land, including dozens of subdivisions for more than 1400 homes. David is an excellent speaker and is known for his affable manner and likeability. Zere Energy is headed up by Karen Gaconnier. Karen is a seasoned sales professional with over 20 years of marketing expertise in business and government. Her previous positions include The Department of Homeland Security media extension executive and former Director of the Long Island Maritime Museum. As 4th generation Long Islander, she is passionate about helping businesses stay in New York. Karen is a licensed Real Estate salesperson and provides consultative services for LED, Solar and Fuel Cell solutions.
Karen is a graduate of Stonybrook University. She lives in West Sayville with her husband and four children.
Patrick is a consummate professional in the commercial real estate marketplace since 1985 with an integral understanding of commercial properties. Patrick has closed numerous transactions in the office, medical, industrial and retail segments of the industry. Due to a comprehensive background in property management, he writes a column for the New York Real Estate Journal on property management issues.
He is the sole owner of Dove Management, a full service commercial property management services company. Dove Management manages office buildings, retail properties and medical buildings throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island.
Patrick is an ordained minister and is active in his church doing charity work and helping others. He resides in Dix Hills with his wife, Mary, and five children.
Paul Caiola, Senior Managing Director, Zere Real Estate Services is an active commercial real estate professional with a string of interesting and unique deals in the business workplace. He has an extensive background in financing for over twenty years. Paul has worked in the banking industry where he excelled in his field of lending for commercial properties and business development for corporate and small business owners. He presently specializes in industrial buildings, represents several office buildings as their exclusive agent and several parcels of vacant land that he represents for sale or lease.
A graduate of C.W. Post University in Business Administration, a former member of the U.S Coast Guard and an avid outdoor enthusiast where he enjoys hiking, biking and being a professional baseball umpire league for high school athletes.
Paul resides on the North Shore of Long Island wife Jean of over forty four years. They have a son and two granddaughters.
